Bloom Plus LED Grow Light BP4000 400W 5x5ft Coverage Full Spectrum Use with Samsung Diodes Dimmable Plant Grow Lamp for Indoor Plants Seeding Veg and Bloom

The Bloom Plus LED Grow Light is ranked as the top rated LED grow light in the United States. However, it is not without its disadvantages. I decided to review this product based on a few factors that I feel are important. Below are my findings based on a personal experience with the product.

Bloom Plus LED Grow Light Review

This is a great product and I would highly recommend it. However, there are some cons associated with it. I have decided to share these below. If you are interested in reading more about this light, I have decided to review it in this article below.

CONS:

While I consider the Bloom Plus LED Grow Light to be great indoor plants grow light, it does have some cons that I am also going to share below. One of the cons I’m going to go over below is the price. At around $500 it is a little expensive for an indoor plant grow light. However, the Amazon price is now about $400 and there are discounts. There are some other LED grow lights that cost less than this one; however, Amazon customers give this a 4.5 star rating. If you are looking for a large amount, you may want to look into these.

The cons listed above mostly pertain to the price. Although I did find a couple of cons relating to the quality of the information about the Bloom Plus LED Grow Light as it is so new on the market. Even after spending several hundred dollars on one, I had trouble getting the best information on it.

PROS:

I have read plenty of people saying that Bloom Plus LED Grow Lights are great. Some of my personal experiences with it were very good. I was actually able to get a few tips for prolonging the life span of your Bloom Plus LED Grow Light. These things did help me out.

Bloom Plus LED Grow Light

One of the things I did notice about the Bloom Plus LED Grow Light is that it uses a new generation High-efficiency LED lights. They are called High-efficiency Led light or HID lights because they use a lower wattage than standard incandescent bulbs.

This is great because not only does it help to cut down on your power bill but also lowers the temperatures needed to produce blooms and buds. It also helps lower the amount of heat produced from the heater itself which can also help your plants stay healthier. These types of lights are great because they will produce the lowest amounts of heat and therefore run cooler.

Full Spectrum

The Full Spectrum led grow lamp can provide everything the plants need under natural light at all stages. The powerful blue light makes the plants grow faster, and IR light is particularly useful during flowering, it can accelerate bloom time and increase yield, fill the flowers with space and obtain an amazing harvest. This can not only reduce buds but also increase yield while saving energy and costs.

The Bloom Plus LED Grow Light has an incredibly long warranty, so you know that if anything should go wrong with it doesn’t perform as well as it did when it was new, you can always return it for a replacement. It comes with three thousand hour bulb life so even though it was a little used when I bought it I’m confident you’ll get the best results out of it.

The company also offers an indoor gardening program, giving you technical support from the moment you purchase it to after ten years of use. This is really good because if there are any problems with the Bloom Plus LED Grow Light it could be easily rectified. It comes with everything you need for your indoor garden right in one box. There are also several instructional videos included with the package so you won’t have any problems getting started.

Guarantee

One of the things I really liked about this Grow Light is that the manufacturer offers a thirty-day money-back guarantee. A thirty-day money-back guarantee means if you are not completely satisfied with the product you can simply send it back and they will issue you a refund. There are hundreds of companies offering LED grow lights, but few offer a thirty-day money-back guarantee like the Bloom Plus LED.

Conclusion

When looking for an indoor garden lighting system, the Bloom Plus LED series offers some really good features at an extremely affordable price. The manufacturer definitely did a lot of work putting together this system. Check out the current price now!

  1. Thanks for a brilliant article. I thin these things are a great idea. How long would you expect one of these lights to last? It may be interesting to work out what you’d save over a year perhaps and see how long it would tae you to regain the cost of the light ijn electricity savings.

    • These lights can last for years and consume very little electricity.  If you were to compare them to MH/HPS lights that you probably would need to upgrade your breaker box and electrical and change out the bulbs on a yearly basis. The latter also produces a LOT of heat that you would need to vent.  LEDs don’t produce hardly any heat (you can put your hand right up to them and not feel any heat.  So, based on all of that, the sweat equity and electrical costs would pay for themselves using LED lights within about a year.

  2. I have been reading the reviews and I really like Bloom Plus LED. It seems to tick many boxes. But, yeah, the price is an important point to consider. I have also seem how we can get some discount on Amazon. So, I am really looking forward to that. If I am able to find it at $350 – $360, I’ll buy it.

    • This really is cutting edge technology due to the different diode type.  It will last much longer than normal LED lights and I do believe now that it’s worth the extra cost.

  3. I have very little knowledge and experience with hydro technology. Is there a resource that can help me? Your site appears well though out and the color scheme is magnificent. Think the the Hydro world is underrated, but that’s probably because of the unfair stigmatism placed government. What size area does the various lighting systems cover?

    • Excellent question and I should do another article on this!  Every light, including the Bloom Plus LED Grow Light, comes in different wattages.  These govern the brightness and the amount of space that they will cover.  This particular one will cover a 5×5 area; however, it also comes in various wattages.  Just go to the Amazon page and check out the different wattages and they will tell you how many square feet they will cover so that you can make an informed decision.  As for the different types of systems, I would read up on it on my site!

Thank you so much for your thoughts on my website as a whole!

  4. Thank you for very interesting article. Im trying to grow herbs and vegetables by myself to have healthy and natural food for my family but its not always easy to have proper conditions inside the house. But looking on your review Bloom plus Led light seems what Im looking for. Its not cheap, but its offer great quality, natural light and reasonable guarantee. Looking forward to test it in practice.

    • Hi Cogito,

You are totally right when you talk about the proper conditions inside your home.  We can easily control water, nutrients and humidity, but light is a whole different thing, especially the farther north you go. This is where your low-energy consumption and low heat emitting LEDs come in – especially for herbs and salad type vegetables.  You want a good light over them.  This includes a switch for the different lengths of time you may need it for (especially in winter), which this comes with.

You also might want to consider an aeroponics unit which include their own LEDs, are fully programmable and consume very little energy.  They are the best for herbs and leafy veggies that aren’t over a foot and a half high.  I have several of these.

All the best in your indoor gardening ventures!

  5. I’m not much of a plant cultivator myself, but it was very interesting to learn about this product in detail. You did a great job of making me understand why the new generation LEDs could be useful and efficient. Maybe even worth the steeper price you pay for the product itself. What types of plants do you grow with this product personally?

    • Hi Chase!

I use LEDs for *hemp* that is in the vegetative state but it will work with tomatoes, cucumbers and all kinds of food for your family.  Now, when your plants are seedlings, you don’t want to hang an uber bright and heat producing light over them and fry them.  This is where your LEDs come in. They create almost no heat and you can raise and lower them as per the stage of growth they are in, controlling the light and heat.

Some; however, will use these for the bloom cycle of *hemp* plants but I would recommend HID lighting for that if you have the money for rewiring your house because of the immense energy drain.  This is why many growers stick to LEDs – because of the super-decreased energy bills and they will work well in any standard home.  They will do a good job and would be great for tomatoes and such.

  6. Being able to grow your own fruit and vegetables is a big plus, but in many parts of the world weather conditions outside are not favorable enough for it. So to be able to grow plants indoors all year round, will be a big bonus. With the help of an indoor light, it is possible. The Bloom Plus LED light does seem to come with a very high price tag. But how long would the light last for? If it lasts for several years, would you regard it as value for money?

  7. Hello! This is a really good review. I have used different Grow lights, but this one? It is miles ahead! Very Bright! My Plants reacted to it within two days. Full spectrum so can carry the plants all the way through. No fans is super nice because its silent. For me ? It is good value.

  8. I like the way your article is presented and the idea of the indoor growth system is brilliant. Many people will use your article for many good to build the indoor system. Your article has everything need to buy and gain knowledge about the ideas.

All the best for the growth of the site.
